nothing is over yet

i slept for aeons together.
the world of humans swirled in its accord
ignoring the sleeping beast in its belly.
my prince charmings were all caught up
in their mortal life dramas.
they were too busy to kiss me awake.
i slept for aeons together.
and i outslept the lives of many princes.
attempts were made to bury my immortal body
for they thought i wouldn't wake up.
but i did. with an alarming class.
my wake up call was made.
i was kissed awake by nature herself.
i was shrouded with life invincible
and was dubbed
the consciousness of human actions.
invulnerable was my air. power was i.
i was brought back to cleanse the world,
entice the weeded roots to produce flowers
and bring back the lost eden.
i slept for aeons, all the while
meditating the deeds to be done.

but when i was up, it was already late.
i learnt that life in earth
was too messed up to be set aright.
i was brought back in the wrong era.
i was about to give up
when nature smiled a fragile smile at me.
nothing is over until it's over for real.
i am going to set things right, i promised.
i am going to restore the green smile of nature.

would you, mortals, put your hands on the soil?
when you do, do you feel the life beneath?
don't you feel in breeze, the touch of love?
don't you feel one with nature?
don't you feel it hurting?
would you raise your hands
to take some weight off its shoulders?
i am invincible, mortals, but not without you.
would you join hands with me,
for nothing is over until it's over for real?
