At the Edges of Our Round Earth

standing at the edges
of this proven-to-be round earth
feels very weird.
people who never know the edges
of circular objects
can never see me tripping down from here.
a perfect spot
away from the buzzing centre
that holds people of value.
i realised i never belonged to the centre.
i don't hold values of worth.
then, i was made to realise
margins aren't for me either.
i am privileged enough to be a misfit there.
that was when i found the edge;
an edge from which i can disappear,
from which i can slip away stealthily
from the clutches of being human and more.
i don't belong here or there
i belong to the liminal zone
that has grown too narrow to hold anyone.
i cannot belong there as well.
my position at the edges are clear now
more than ever before.
i found my edges and,
i can and will fall to bits
without your notice.
all you will know when i am gone
is that i diffused pollens of my thoughts.
make sure you escape
my splintered words of nonsense
for your own good.
